The impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the Finance team, the Accounts Payable Analyst supports the processing of disbursement vouchers and related payments to vendors and employees of DTCC and several affiliated companies. This role is also responsible for the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and monitoring of accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
What You’ll Do
- Process supplier invoices by performing 2-way or 3-way match
- Perform vendor reconciliation as deemed vital and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Responsible in ensuring compliance with the record retention policy
- Handles and prioritizes high volume of incoming requests to the Accounts Payable helpdesk which include timely response and resolution of inquiries from vendors and internal business areas of all DTCC subsidiaries
- Brings up situations which could result in suspension of business-critical services if not resolved within narrow timeframes
- Coordinates resolution of discrepancies and policy violations with Vendor Management Office and business areas
- Communicates with business unit to acquire approval to pay expenditure.
- Able to handle ad-hoc requests which require the review and preparation of data to meet specific specifications.
- Reconciles A/P liabilities to the general ledger monthly and partners with Financial Reporting to meet deadlines for closing of company’s books
- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; brings up appropriately

- Entry Level – internship experience highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
Talents Needed for Success:
- General knowledge of Accounts Payable and/or Financial Operations processing
- Excellent communication (English Oral and Written).
- Proficient in MS Office applications with an emphasis on Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Basic accounting knowledge
