Job description: Roles/Responsibilities
- (Cross-border lead)
- Spearhead large-scale cross-border projects, primarily focusing on syndicated loans.
- Develop and manage portfolios for Tokyo office.
- Learn and master a wide range of tasks from discovering target companies to closing deals.
- Collaborate with the Singapore team in sourcing and analyzing projects, and book projects in Singapore after risk analysis.
- Conduct thorough credit analysis and syndicated loan underwriting.
- Craft compelling business cases to drive strategic decision-making.
- Play a pivotal role in business expansion across Japan and South-East Asia.
Required skills
- High proficiency in Japanese and English.
- Strong background in structured finance or extensive experience in cross-border projects within a financial institution.
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage portfolios.
- Proven expertise in credit analysis and syndicated loan underwriting.
Preferred skills
- Interest in ESG Credit and Sustainable Finance.
- Open to international travel and overseas assignment in the future (Singapore).
