Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports with the in-depth financial analysis and commentary to business units; highlight opportunities and risks, and proactively communicate financial reporting change if any
- Submit monthly dashboard to regional CBG BUC, and response the queries.
- Prepare monthly CBG expense report and variance analysis to ensure the expenditure within the budget.
- Undertake month-end closing activities to ensure accurate reporting, including prepare monthly journals to comply with accounting policy, and review accruals prepared by business
- Review monthly EPMS / Hyperion results, investigate variances, and prepare adjustments if necessary
Forecast and Planning
- Prepare monthly flash report, and submit to regional CBG BUC.
- Prepare semi-annual forecast, and annual budget, including revenue, expense, headcount projection as well as investment.
- Coordinate within the team to complete the tasks, and being a focal point to country FP&A team to supplement CBG financial numbers
- Work with business to articulate business focus and strategies together with financial numbers in major meetings.
Business Supports
- Review Marketing Campaigns for business decision making, and support financial evaluation of business investment plans/initiatives
- Leverage data of New Cost Allocation to deliver cost efficiency.
- Identify key business metrics and drivers necessary to monitor business performance and growth. Partner DC to ensure such metrics are monitored on regular basis
- Provide accounting guidance to business to ensure the compliance of reporting
- Be focal point of business for financial related inquiries.
Job Requirement
- Sound understanding of Financial Services, to specifically include a working knowledge and application of audit and banking regulations.
- Proven success leading management teams
- Sound understanding of local competitors and the economy.
