Job description: Job Title: Asst. Procurement Manager, Personal Wash Operation Department: Procurement Profession Supply Chain Work Level: WL1C/1D Location Mumbai, India Main Job Purpose: Personal Care is one of the most important portfolios within Unilever Personal Care Business Group. The role is responsible for managing soap noodle/palm derivates operations through transformative sustainability projects for India Personal Care business, totaling INR 3000+ Crore. The role requires understanding of supplier landscape, supply chain network. This role is instrumental in ensuring cost control, supplier quality, contract management and ensuring execution of key savings projects. Key Accountabilities: Delivery of sourcing strategy Developing execution plans for new materials introduced as part of key transformative projects Continuous engagement with the noodle/palm derivative suppliers to ensure service and quality Effective supplier communications and engagement in key programs Identifying cost-saving opportunities, execution& reporting of all cost savings programs -Ensure compliance of supply sources with Unilever’s Responsible Sourcing Policy, OTIF deliveries and Quality improvement Professional Skills: Strong supply chain operational & execution skills Ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver a common business goals Digital and analytics knowledge Stakeholder management Person with understanding soap manufacturing and supply chain operations will be added advantage Experience in Procurement transformation projects, tools and technologies. Experience Required: ESSENTIAL University degree At least 6 to 8 years solid experience in supply chain, sourcing & supplier operations Expertise in supply chain operations, preferably in soap manufacturing Demonstrated and proven capabilities to work in cross-functional teams Experience of working in matrix organisation structure Travel: 10-15% Travel within the country Contacts: Internal: Procurement Personal Care – Global & Local Strategy and Insights Team R&D R&D teams Market Supply chain in market Business Group Senior leadership Finance team Sustainability Sustainable business External: Supply Partners Reporting Channel: Reporting to Procurement Manager – Personal Wash – India
