Job description: A Multinational Company in Medical Device is looking for a Business Development Manager in HCM to take care of Southern area for one of their fast-growing unit. This person will report to BU Head and manage a team of 2 members.
OVERVIEW
- Report to: Head of Business Unit
- Manages 2 Sales Staffs
- Based in HCMC Office in D1
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
The principal duties and responsibilities of a Business Development Manager consist of, but are not limited to the following:
1. Contributes to the development of the mission, vision, strategy, and aim of the organization:
- Deducts actions from these trends in agreement with the overall strategy
- Support identification of relevant trends in the market.
2. Represents company:
- With regular visits to opinion leaders and the main decision-makers within key accounts to establish solid contacts for ongoing or future business
- Coordinate sales force and other resources, pricing based on funding availability and competitors’ intelligence, order follow-up for relationship management
- Drive large projects or business solutions and services
- Key Project Management
- Manage accounts and purchase organizations.
3. Establish business plan through main accounts knowledge and input of Sales & Service Executives based on:
- Customer relationship management (history of customers, customer’s installed base by company & Competitors won/lost order analysis in the area by Sales Executives, categorize A, B, and C customers)
- Share knowledge of customers‘ needs with Product Managers
- Determine action plan by area for budget achievement.
4. Management of the sales team and support service activities in Southern area for this sector:
- Develop and maintain an accurate customer & market intelligence database to make informed business strategy (i.e. install-base, KOL’s, market size/share, competitive information)
- Monitors ROI on actions in the accounts
- Agree on the action plan for budget achievement
- Manage the employees/resources and set clear tasks and goals (i.e. salary & bonus plans and revision, run performance appraisal for salespeople, approve expense reports for sales organization)
- Implement sales processes
- Ensure that employees are properly supported, trained, and evaluated, keep sales staff highly motivated
- Manage sales funnel and ensure that Project Manager updates the sales funnel properly and regularly
REQUIREMENT:
- Education: University degree or comparable business experience.
- Minimum 6 years of working experience there of 2 years with management responsibility in a related field
