Job Description
- Develop comprehensive specifications for development requests, encompassing trading workflows across multiple asset classes and advanced portfolio rebalancing workflows
- Generate concise project status reports to effectively communicate progress and updates
- Assume ownership of existing projects and proactively address new customer requirements
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand and articulate advanced trading, portfolio management, and compliance needs
- Engage with new clients to streamline and optimize existing workflows through software configurations or innovative solutions
- Partner with existing clients to conceptualize and implement new workflows, enhancing efficiency through software configurations or innovative approaches
- Actively solicit requirements from both internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive solution design.
- Efficiently prioritize and execute on multiple tasks concurrently
- Design and develop novel workflows, features, and functions to meet evolving business needs
- Create comprehensive test suites and matrices for automated regression testing
- Analyze reported quality assurance nuances to accurately categorize issues as bugs, system features, or misconfigurations
The Successful Applicant
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
- Possess over 8 years of relevant experience in the following areas:
- Financial services industry, collaborating with Prime Brokers, Executing Brokers, OEMS Platform Vendors, or Asset Management Front Office users
- Working on OMS or EMS platforms or participating in their deployments.
- Testing or working closely with a global QA Team
- Directly engaging with a global Product Development team
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of global trading systems and the workflow of portfolio managers
