My client is a leader in its industry, keen to hire an independent and motivated Finance talent to oversee the Finance function. Relevant industry exposure from Energy/ Oil Trading is required.
Requirements
- Degree/ACCA qualified with 15-20 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership track record in managing sizeable teams
- Finance experience from Oil / Energy Trading industry will be required
- Experience across controllership, credit, trade finance, treasury, reporting, settlements, tax will be highly preferred
- Desired traits: Mature, confident, team player, hands-on, meticulous, results-oriented, ability to work well with different stakeholders including traders
Budget: SGD15,000 – 18,000 per month + Bonus
Job Scope
Reporting to the CFO and managing a team of more than 10 members, this position will be responsible for the overall finance function including reporting, accounting, controllership, credit management, trade finance, budget preparation, settlements, treasury etc. You will oversee areas relating to compliance, tax, audit, internal control, cash flow management, non-trade procurement process, as well as the review of financial terms in commercial contracts. You will support in the oversight of the company’s investments, provide advice on financial impacts in the course of evaluating potential investment opportunities.
You will also proactively drive process streamlining and system enhancement initiatives, and partner senior management very closely to support various improvement and business expansion initiatives.
