The Business Development role is responsible for generating new business and for initiating and managing business development initiatives. HSBC Global Trade and Receivables Finance is committed to help companies from every part of the world grow their business across borders. Offering a comprehensive range of forward-thinking supply chain and traditional trade solutions, the business has been repeatedly recognized by the industry’s most prominent publications and associations with numerous awards of rits strength in combining innovation and service excellence with end-to-end customer solutions. This role is to assist BDM team and GTRF Head on the dedicated range of products and superior service levels.
- To proactively help drive traditional trade & structured trade business development to grow trade revenue.
- To proactively support sales and client management activities
- To support BDMs to structure trade facilities and proper solution to meet client’s needs.
- To help enhance corporate relationships and customer service quality
- To support Group Global and Regional Relationships and initiatives
- To assist BDMs with paperwork and keep sales activities and transactions running smoothly.
- To support GTRF Head on ad-hoc tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above, majored in business related
- Trade Services & Sales or Corporate Banking experience will be a plus
- Good communication skill, drive and commitment
- Resilience with business acumen, familiar with trade products
- Confident and outgoing
- Good adaptability, professional appearance and demeanor
- Fluent written and spoken English
