About The Role A member of Workday’s Professional Services organization, the Technical Consultant is passionate about the implementation of our cloud based Human Resources, Financial Management and Student Information Systems. The Technical Consultant works closely with the client’s project team to design, develop, and deploy a customer’s various technical requirements. These requirements include integrations between Workday and adjacent systems in the customer landscape, migration of data from existing customer systems to Workday, and relevant functional solutions. The Technical Consultant has knowledge of core design principles, common data modeling and patterns, project implementation methodology, and a successful track record of delivering. It will be your responsibility to project manage large deliverables across a team of technical resources under your preview for that project(s) and ensure overall project success. About You Basic Qualifications Over 5 years demonstrated ability with data migration, integration development, Or functional configuration and testing Strong capabilities with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design Experience in Financial software Other Qualifications Experience in a customer facing role implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft etc. Proficient understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle Active Workday Implementer Certification or Workday PRO Certification Experience in Finance Domain is plus Proficient skills with EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net or other integration technology and testing Proficient skills with Workday integration technologies such as EIB, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio Proficient understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle – including integrations requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and move to production Proficient skills with ETL, SQL/MySQL, XML, Microsoft Excel, stored procedures or other data tooling Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
