Job description: The role of an IT Director involves overseeing and managing the information technology systems and infrastructure within a company.
- Develop and implement the organisation’s IT strategy aligned with business goals and regions.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation’s IT infrastructure.
- Lead software development projects to enhance or create new business applications.
- Align IT expenditures with business priorities.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Integrate various systems to streamline business processes and data flow.
- Implement and manage ERP projects.
Report directly to CEO|Fast-track of moving to be a Board Member
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within the manufacturing experience
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in leading ERP projects
