The coordinator will be the key support to the department and will perform all tasks related to setting up and monitoring interviews and focus groups, processing and analysing insights and data for qualitative and quantitative market research projects designed by the Market Research Manager and its regional needs throughout the Asia Pacific region including Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Korea and Japan. These tasks involve using various research methodologies and tools including focus groups (online and face to face), in-depth interviews, online surveys and many others depending on the nature of the project designs.The coordinator should be expected to be involved in day-to-day management of projects as well as providing supervisory input of other project team members.The position is mainly based in HCM, but the scope of work will cover both Vietnam and other regional markets such as Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Korea, and Japan following school’s directionFor further information about this role, please click on the .Reporting LineReports to: Market Research ManagerKey Accountabilities
- Gathering and developing market research briefs, collaborating on research design decisions, writing proposals, and creating sample designs while considering budgets.
- Develop recruitment questionnaire and related testing materials/concepts for market research projects.
- Effectively implement both in house and outsourcing qualitative/quantitative projects.
- Monitor and take note for in-depth interviews and focus group discussion, to provide insights and analysis and to report on feedback.
- Work effectively with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners for relevant matters such as contract paper, quotation, invoicing, interview logistic arrangement, vendor selection and bidding and budgeting etc for research projects
- Provide professional support services for the department, including calendar management which encompasses all arrangements associated with organising internal and external meetings; travel arrangements domestically and internationally; other administrative tasks as required by the department
- Manage and track correspondence and documentation for the team ensuring that actions arising from correspondence and meetings to be completed in a timely and appropriate manner; use judgement to determine level of urgency, ensure the Manager or other relevant senior staff are made aware of matters that require their action. Follow up as required.

Key Selection Criteria
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field.
- Minimum three years of experience in marketing or market research.
- Solid knowledge of marketing principles and concepts.
- Detail-oriented and quality-driven approach.
- Strong ability to relate and communicate with people at all levels.
- Proficiency in using internet search engines and databases for optimized searches.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and information management systems, along with experience in analysing and interpreting complex data for market research purposes.
English ProficiencyEnglish is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam.
