Role Description Building a strong organization starts with hiring the best fit candidates. Our people are critical to our continued success — and growing this powerhouse team is your main role. As a Hiring Operations Associate, you will handle the end-to-end recruitment and selection processes across all roles. Our selection process typically involves paper reviews, technical exams, and behavioral + cultural interviews. As public-facing representatives of the company, we strive to provide candidates with an excellent Candidate Journey, rooted in both care and fairness. We are candidates’ first glimpse into the company; as such, we embody the company’s core values. Beyond the Hiring Operations Team, you will also have lots of opportunities to work with various internal stakeholders. You will work closely with our technical teams to craft and maintain job descriptions and exams, facilitating exam reviews and conducting interviews, and guiding hiring managers through selection decisions. You will also collaborate with the Marketing Team to expand the reach and strength of our Employer Branding across Southeast Asia. Finally, you should expect to have direct dialogue with Senior Leadership to align on hiring priorities. As part of the Operations Team umbrella, expect to coordinate with other verticals like People Operations, Finance, and Resource Operations. We are a team that gets things done — this means contributing to big, cross-operations projects. Given the scope of this role, we are looking for people that are able to do the tactical, administrative, as well as the strategic aspects of hiring and recruitment. If selected, we will work closely with you to handle most, if not all, of these responsibilities within your first 6 months through mentorship, training, and guidance. Qualifications And Competencies We need someone who can learn quickly and hit the ground running. As such, we prefer candidates with 2-3 years of background experience in end-to-end recruitment and/or hiring. Additional experience and skill-related expectations include: Holistic understanding of the end-to-end process of recruitment and hiring, as well as actual experience in driving and executing various parts of this process. Ability to find and attract best-fit candidates on hard-to-fill roles through various active sourcing channels. Ability to review, assess, discern amongst, and recommend candidates for technical, business, and operational roles. You don’t have to fully understand all roles immediately, especially the technical ones. But you are expected to study, deep-dive into, and learn unfamiliar roles quickly. Adept stakeholder management experience to wrangle all related parties involved in hiring, including working with Senior Leadership. Demonstrated competency in conducting behavioral interviews, as well as introductory and exploratory conversations with candidate leads. Success in strategizing and executing hiring events such as university outreaches, company mixers, public info sessions, and the like. While not required, candidates with the following will have an edge: Deep understanding of the tech industry and the roles associated with it. Experience in reporting and extracting insights from hiring data. Experience in regional and cross-border hiring and recruitment. This is a huge responsibility, and we need someone we can entrust TM’s brand and reputation to.
