Our Country Development Managers are core to our client-centric business. They are on the front lines working with our Grab Sales, Mex Operations, and Support teams to train, activate, support, and grow Grab’s self-service advertising user base. Ensure campaigns are successfully running GrabAds Platform.
An ideal candidate will embody a customer-first mindset and enjoy developing relationships and build partnerships. The candidate needs to be highly skilled at breaking down complex ideas and processes into actionable steps, detailed oriented and enjoy chasing answers, diving deep into troubleshooting and working with their peers to share solutions and improve workflow. The Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for advertisers acquisition & retention, conducting weekly, monthly and quarterly self-serve operation/ business reviews with country team
- Drive merchants’ success through country engagement and to ensure a smooth work process on MM/MSS. Key stakeholders are:
- Country PICs
- Country Sales/AM
- Country Merchant Engagement (comms team)
- Regional Marketing & CRM
- Regional Data Analytics
- Regional and Country Finance
- SMB Ads – SMB Platform Specialist
- SMB Ads – Tiered Service Team
- SMB Ads – Strategy and Planning
- Be a subject matter expert on the GrabAds Self Serve platform. Able to articulate product positioning, sign-up process, key features, reporting and optimisation. Work closely with strategy, sales, marketing and product teams to support a growing advertisers base. Develop country enablement tools and programs:
- Execute training programs for internal and external users
- Assist localisation
- Plan and execute training workshop
- Conduct post training follow up and analysis
- Drive merchants’ success through B2B marketing communications and education programs, support & execute Marketing & CRM initiatives, plan and execute Comms roll-out.
- Data driven, metric focused, monitor Self Serve performance report on daily basis and support country team with data access, best practices & business insights
- Provide input for product enhancement and development through merchants feedback collection sessions such as survey, advertiser panel, user group, roundtable etc.
- Collaborate with SMB Strategy & Planning and Customer Success Team to develop new business opportunities to grow the advertisers base.
- Operation excellence, follow business processes defined in the Self Serve Handbook and continue to document new experiments and findings to improve workflow and team knowhow.

Qualifications
The Must Haves:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
- Work Experience: Mature profile with 5+ years of experience in sales/ consulting in fast paced B2B companies in the tech, digital sectors or growth startup sectors, with international or regional exposure. Advertising preferred, SMB focused experience is a plus
- Excellent communication & written presentation skills with the ability to transmit across different level stakeholders in both English and local language.
- Sound understanding & experience of Ads Ecosystem both Online & Offline
- Process driven business approach with a passion to enable business teams to drive business improvements focussed on demonstrable impact. Experience leveraging sales enablement tools (CRM, Content, Marketing Automation, etc…)
- Team Player with the ability to work across a matrix environment in a fast paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup environment. Should have a deep desire to excel and develop a career in a fast growing tech company. Should have demonstrated integrity and respect in the performance of their duties.
