Job Description
We are looking for a talented Talent Acquisition Business Partner with fresh perspectives and a deep curiosity to join our global Talent Acquisition team!
Reporting directly to the Global Talent Acquisition team and collaborating closely with the APAC HR team, you will be responsible for recruiting activities in the APAC region to support CGG in attracting the best talent across all business lines. You will also support university relations and employer branding initiatives to reinforce our brand awareness in the region, and support TA team globally when necessary.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for recruiting activities within your region in APAC by leading full cycles searches for all business units and countries.
- Lead the recruitment process in the region to ensure consistency in the hiring process and guarantee best class candidate experience.
- Provide expertise on sourcing methodologies within your region, effectively using social media and other tools to identify specific candidate pools, developing a strong knowledge of CGG and the markets we recruit from.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their business needs; share and discuss market trends; and navigate trade-offs between market, speed and quality while setting clear expectations on SLA.
- Build strong working relationships with Business, HR CoEs and HRBPs
- Represent CGG to the highest standard at every opportunity helping to strengthen the CGG employer brand in the region and participate in branding efforts and university recruitment events.
- Participate in CoE projects and initiatives as required at regional, as well as global levels when required.
- Provide strong support to our ID&E agenda in the region.
This position is available on a contract or permanent basis.
Qualifications
BA degree level (minimum) in business administration, human resources, organizational development or another related field.
Skills and Experiences
- 5 + years of progressive recruiter experience with at least 3 years managing technical full-cycle talent searches (agency and in–house recruiting experience). Previous experience in the tech/IT industry is preferred.
- A demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing, assessing and delivering challenging and complex searches.
- Digital savviness – ability to adopt quickly new technology and systems. Experience using ATS, CRM, and other HR Analytics tools in daily activities (SmartRecruiters, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights, and other).
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment and comfortable to interact with all levels of management in multiple languages.
- Effectively manage and execute several challenging priorities at the same time.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin). A third language would be a plus (ideally Bahasa).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to interact with all levels of employee in the organization.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with demonstrated sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
