The Visa Internship Program is the biggest step you can take to joining our Revolution of Payments Innovation. Throughout your 12 weeks at Visa, you will take on meaningful work, get executive exposure, engage in out-of-the-box problem solving, and participate in social and community service activities. From technology to business, we are looking for people who can innovate, collaborate, and drive Visa into the next era of an already rapidly evolving digital marketplace. We are looking for Business Interns to join us in the following functions:
Marketing
Visa’s Marketing team is a passionate and dedicated team with a high-performance culture to advance and drive experiential marketing to build awareness and deliver demand through the curation, creation of marketing strategies designed to acquire, engage, and retain Visa’s ecosystem and network of partners and clients. Success is driven through collaboration with cross functional teams across Visa to accelerate product and solution adoption, migration and retention to deliver business growth.
Merchant Sales and Acquiring
The Merchant Sales & Acquiring Business team is responsible for leading Visa’s business relationship with valued clients. The team provides strategic direction to drive Visa’s business, translate strategy to execution, build high quality relationships with all key stakeholders including clients and other key partners. The team is also adept at collaborating and building support from cross-functional teams to deliver the best of Visa for the China market and is key to our ongoing operations as well as long-term success.
Product and Experience Innovation
The Innovation & Design team is a global client-facing organization that sets Visa’s public innovation agenda, promotes hands-on incubation and rapid prototyping with clients and partners, and elevates the design and user experiences of Visa products and services.
Visa Consulting & Analytics – Consulting
Visa’s Asia Pacific Consulting Practice applies deep expertise in the payment industry to provide solutions and consulting services to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. We drive tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa’s clients, including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as analytics, credit card product development, risk management, marketing, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments, among others, and solves the most strategic problems for our clients
Qualifications
Flex Work Arrangement – Hybrid Position – This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Penultimate year undergraduate students who are available to work full-time for 12 weeks between May 2024 and August 2024.
- Legal authorization to work in China – Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.
- Pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Communication, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to develop well-structured communications and deliver presentations to audiences.
- Research and analytical skills, able to collect and interpret data to solve problems and execute solutions.
- Self-motivated with a keen appetite for learning.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
